About Me

Engineer, teacher, speaker, and fox enthusiast.

Mónica Fidalgo

Hey there! I'm Mónica — a frontend engineer who took the scenic route. I started out as a marine biologist 🐠, but traded the ocean for the web and never looked back. Turns out building digital experiences is just as thrilling as studying marine ecosystems.

When I'm not coding, you'll find me throwing punches at boxing 🥊, volunteering at the local animal shelter 🐾, or gushing about foxes (yes, they are the best animals, fight me).

I believe in clean code, inclusive communities, and building things that make people smile.
